  6. If you have an access  to  InterNet  (or  its  subnets  NorduNet  or
  7. FuNet), and have FTP (file transfer program) capability, you can get
  8. these programs from garbo.uwasa.fi archives,  University  of  Vaasa,
  9. Finland,  node  number  128.214.87.1  by anonymous FTP. If you don't
  10. have FTP, you can use Garbo's mail server. You can inquire for  more
  11. information by email from ts@uwasa.fi.

  13. Another  possibility  of  getting these programs is downloading them
  14. from Vaasa FreePort BBS. The phone  numbers  are  (+358)-61-3170972,
  15. 3170974  and  3248490.  The  settings are 9600,N,8,1. The first time
  16. give "bbs" as your login.  This  information  is  subject  to  later
  17. changes.

  19. These  programs  are also included on Robert Bruce's extensive Garbo
  20. CDROM (obtainable eg from Harri Valkama, WasaWare Oy,  Palosaarentie
  21. 31,  FIN-65200  Vaasa, Finland). The programs are probably available
  22. from several bulletin boards,  too.  Some  of  these  programs  also
  23. appear  on the PC-SIG and other shareware libraries like on Software
  24. Connection(tm) Dos disks by the Cobb Group, Robert Bruce's  SIMTEL20
  25. (later SimTel) CDROM , JCS Marketing's Subscription Issue CDROM, and
  26. many other similar sources.

  28. The most recent versions are, however, at the University  of  Vaasa.
  29. This  means  that  using  anonymous  FTP,  or  the  mail  server  of
  30. garbo.uwasa.fi or its overseas mirrors, or  calling  Vaasa  FreePort
  31. BBS, are by far the best choices.
